“Christmas with the Crias” Dec 20, 2014

Walnut Ridge Llama Farm is having their 7th Annual Christmas Open House called “Christmas with the Crias” on Saturday, December 20th from 11:00 – 5:00. This annual holiday event is free admission to the public and fun for the entire family. The public will be able to experience the gentleness of eight llama babies called “crias.” It is a perfect event to bring your out-of-town family and guests to on the Saturday before Christmas.

Dress warmly and enjoy listening to Christmas music as you take a holiday hayride through the farm pastures and woods. Warm yourself by the campfire, drink some hot cocoa, “Walk a Llama,” or shop for some unique Christmas gifts in the Llama Store. No Christmas season is complete without an annual visit to the Walnut Ridge Llama Farm. Be sure to bring your cameras!

The llama farm has been open to the public as a seasonal agri-tourism venue since 2005. The farm’s mission is to provide a unique and educational farm experience for children and families. It is located just off 11-E Highway between Greeneville and Jonesborough in Chuckey. The farm address is 1345 Chuckey Highway, Chuckey, Tennessee. Call 423-257-2875 for additional information.
