ALCL Mountain Phantom

ALCL Mountain Phantom

Phantom is our premium herdsire at Walnut Ridge.  We watched him for two years wearing out the competition in the show ring garnering over 5 “Best in Shows.”  We purchased him in October 2012 to take our breeding to a new level.  He is a great combination of Peruvian & Chilean bloodlines including Kantu P5 and S.F. Armani.  His first crop of crias in 2014 and his current 2015 crop are all knockouts with “flash & fiber.”  One of his …more about llama »

ALCL Camo Man

ALCL Camo Man

Is this an appaloosa or what??  Camo Man is by far the favorite llama on our farm.  He is recognized everywhere he goes because of his outrageous coloration bolstering five different colors in his pattern, silver, black, white, red, & dark brown.  He is a great public relations llama in addition to a wonderful new breeding herdsire on our farm.  He has been downtown, at festivals, and at schools. Camo Man had an illustrious show record before he retired to …more about llama »

MSF Blizzard

MSF Blizzard

We would like to introduce the newest member of our herdsire row, MSF Blizzard.  We first saw him at the North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) Llama Show in Louisville, Kentucky this fall 2015.  I was so impressed with his size and his regal attitude while Mark Smith was grooming him.  With this being his first show, he placed Triple Grand Champion Silky Male which included the 2015 Eastern Region ILR-SD Silky Grand Champion. We have been looking for some …more about llama »

Sinbad is a fantastic gelding male that we have on the farm.  We sold him a few years ago as a guard to a physician who raised sheep.  When the physician sold his farm and sheep, he gave Sinbad back to us where he will remain.  He is one of the favorites at our summer camp for children and with farm llama hikers.  He always stands at attention and is very gentle….more about llama »

Windshires Thunderous Applause

Windshires Thunderous Applause

Thunderous Applause is an awesome extreme suri herdsire out of Windshire Llamas. Sondra Shirk bought his sire, FFF Thunder Snow for $30,000 at the Spring Celebrity Sale in Oklahoma. Thunderous has white suri fiber with spiral lock structure and high luster like his sire and peach colored cheeks. He has nice stretch, straight conformation, and a laid back disposition. Thunderous placed 6th at the Celebrity Futurity in 2005. His mother, Silver Moon Applause, was Reserve Celebrity Champion as a juvenile …more about llama »

WRLF Treasure

Treasure is a medium size gelding male that has been used extensively for our farm as a guard and companion/hiking llama for our summer camp for children.  As we continue to reduce our herd we have decided to put him on our sales list along with many more of our core llama herd.  Treasure is halter trained and has wonderful suri fiber.  He will make a great addition to any farm….more about llama »

SRLL Mau’Dib

SRLL Mau’Dib

Mau’Dib is by far our tallest herdsire on the farm.  We love the “stretch” he has and the elegance he shows when he stands.  Mau’Dib has a fantastic straight up tail set.  He comes from the excellent breeding program of Sugar River Llamas.  We bid on his grandsire, LW Pioneer, several years ago and almost purchased him at a llama sale.  We look forward to breeding him to some of our foundation females….more about llama »
