Phantom is our premium herdsire at Walnut Ridge.  We watched him for two years wearing out the competition in the show ring garnering over 5 “Best in Shows.”  We purchased him in October 2012 to take our breeding to a new level.  He is a great combination of Peruvian & Chilean bloodlines including Kantu P5 and S.F. ALCL Camo Man

Is this an appaloosa or what??  Camo Man is by far the favorite llama on our farm.  He is recognized everywhere he goes because of his outrageous coloration bolstering five different colors in his pattern, silver, black, white, red, & dark brown.  He is a great public relations llama in addition to a wonderful new breeding herdsire on our farm.  He has been downtown, at festivals, and at schools. We would like to introduce the newest member of our herdsire row, MSF Blizzard.  We first saw him at the North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) Llama Show in Louisville, Kentucky this fall 2015.  I was so impressed with his size and his regal attitude while Mark Smith was grooming him.  With this being his first show, he placed Triple Grand Champion Silky Male which included the 2015 Eastern Region ILR-SD Silky Grand Champion. SRLL Mau’Dib

SRLL Mau’Dib

Mau’Dib is by far our tallest herdsire on the farm.  We love the “stretch” he has and the elegance he shows when he stands.  Mau’Dib has a fantastic straight up tail set.  He comes from the excellent breeding program of Sugar River Llamas.  We bid on his grandsire, LW Pioneer, several years ago and almost purchased him at a llama sale.  We look forward to breeding him to some of our foundation females….more about llama »
