Breeding fees will be as stated on the contract as follows:

1. Transportation to and from Walnut Ridge Llama Farm is the responsibility of the owners of the female to be bred.

2. WRLF requires that the female (s) being brought to WRLF be insured.  We recommend Wilkins Livestock Insurer.  WRLF will ask for proof of insurance and the cost of livestock insurance will be the responsibility of the owner of the female (s) to be bred.  There will be no boarding charge for the first (30) days of stay.  After (30) days, WRLF charges $2.00 per day per llama.  If the female has a cria on her side that is (6) months or younger, there is no charge for the cria.

3. Any vet or unusual miscellaneous charges for medical reasons that are incurred while boarding at WRLF will be the responsibility of the female’s owner.

4. All llamas being brought to WRLF must have a valid health certificate from a certified vet issued within (5) days.  The female (s) must have been de-wormed within (5) days.

5. Boarding stay and/or charges cover daily feeding of WRLF mixed feed with MasterBlend Minerals, water, hay and/or pasture grazing.  Llamas will also be weighed on a digital scale.

6. WRLF uses the “spit off” refusal method of pregnancy testing.  Requested progesterone testing or ultrasound testing is the financial responsibility of the female owners.

7. WRLF guarantees a live cria birth based on the breeding abilities of the WRLF herdsire.  The breeding fees are not refundable.  WRLF will rebreed free of charge to a herdsire of the female owner’s choice based on equal breeding fees.
