Jerry and Carolyn Ayers established Walnut Ridge Farm in 1984. They introduced llamas to the farm in 1998 and opened the farm to the public as an agri-tourism site in 2005. Their mission has always been to provide the community a place to take their families to enjoy wholesome farm and llama experiences. They started a family-friendly storytelling hayride during October called “Spooky Llama Trails & Tales” in 2010. All activities on the farm are geared toward children and families. The new event on the farm is a summer day camp called “Art on the Llama Farm.” The latest addition to the farm in 2017 was a new RV Campground called the Lazy Llama Campground. Families can now stay in the campground and the children/grandchildren can be involved in the Art at the Llama Farm Day Camp.
