Jerry and Carolyn Ayers have been raising llamas since 1998.

Jerry and Carolyn Ayers established Walnut Ridge Farm in 1984.  They introduced llamas to the farm in 1998 and opened the farm to the public as an agri-tourism site in 2005. Their mission has always been to provide the community a place to take their families to enjoy wholesome farm and llama experiences.  They started an annual holiday celebration in December called “Christmas with the Crias” in 2008, and a family-friendly storytelling hayride during September/October called “Spooky Llama Trails & Tales” in 2010.  All activities on the farm are geared toward children and families.  The new event on the farm is a summer day camp called “Art on the Llama Farm.”
